The Balboa 51569 D2000R1(x) circuit board is discontinued but we have options.

Option 1: Get your circuit board repaired.  Please contact us before sending items in for repair.

Option 2: Contact us to inquire about a new retro-fit system control box replacement.

ATTENTION: The original topside control panel (keypad) for this system has two connector plugs, whereas, one of them is outdated and no longer supported.

To clarify, the Ethernet connector (looks simialr to a phone plug connector) and it is supported by this replacement circuit board but the other connector (which is smaller and has two-wires) is no longer supported.

To further clarify, the existing topside control panel (keypad) does work with this alternate replacement circuit board but the existing keypad's backlighitng for its display will not light up.
The buttons will still function when pressed and the display (on the existing keypad) can often still be read using other alternate light sources (I.E. sunlight, flashlight, etc.)

Another option is to purchase a new fully compatible topside control panel (sold separately).

ATTENTION: Additional changes in functionality with this alternate replacement circuit board:
1. Filter cycles are set on the alternate replacement circuit board with a provided jumper instead of through the topside control panel's settings.
The filter cycle choices on the circuit board are selectable for 2 hour or 5 hour.

2. Automatic jet pump timeout is now approximately 15 minutes.
Just simply turn the jets back on as like before with the old circuit board.

Tip: When replacing a hot tub circuit board, testing the heater and replacing it (if bad), is recommended before installing or applying voltage on a new circuit board.
Note: A continuity test is not a sufficient heater test. Contact us by phone for more details on testing a heater.

Tip: Burned circuit boards or burned heater relays are often due to a loose electrical connection or a bad heater or both.
If all connections are tight and if the heater is good then the heater relays are probably old and worn out.
If a burned relay was powering a pump and all electrical connections are tight then the relay is probably old and worn out or the pump might be bad or going bad or all three.
Replacing the heater and/or pump with a new one is recommended if any of those scenarios apply.
