Cross Reference Verification
Step 1 of 2:
Tip: Locate the serial number on the old circuit board being replaced.
Tip: The serial number is on a sticker on the old circuit board (not the box).
Tip: The serial number is shown on the sticker preceded by S/N or P/N (part number).
Tip: The image above shows an example of a serial number sticker (click image to enlarge it).

Verify the serial number on the old circuit board being replaced is in this list.

Serial Numbers:
  • 50975
  • BAL50975

Step 2 of 2:
Tip: Locate the chip number on the circuit board you are replacing.
Tip: The whole chip number is on a sticker located on the circuit board (not the box).
Tip: This is a different sticker than the serial number sticker.
Tip: The chip number sticker usually has two lines of text and the top line is the whole chip number (the bottom line is not needed).

Additional Cross Ref., Compatibility & Installation
For topside panels with 8-buttons and 6-buttons (or less): Please contact us before placing an order and please take photos of your topside panel in order for us to determine compatibility..

For topside panels with 7-buttons: If your hot tub has a 24HR circulation pump then Pump1 and Pump2 become single speed pumps.

For topside panels with 7-buttons: if your hot tub has a regular circulation pump (only turns on for polling):then Pump1 must be a 2 speed pump and Pump2 becomes a single speed pump

Please note: After installing the alternate replacement circuit board, sometimes (but
not always) the order of the buttons on the topside control panel become rearranged.
I.E. The light button might become the jet button and the jet button might become the light button.
Whereas, a new overlay sticker can usualy correct the button label order (if a new overlay is available).
Please note: Even without a new overlay, the topside panel and its buttons will still function.
Please note: In many cases the button order remains the same (no change).

Please note: Additional (auxilary) topside control panels may not be compatible with the alternate circuit boad..

Please note: Multi-speed air blower will now operate on one speed.
If you have a multi-speed air blower then just simply choose one speed and don't connect the wires for the other speeds.
If your air blower only has one speed then there is no change.

Everything else not mentioned above is fully compatible.
Tip: When replacing a hot tub circuit board, testing the heater and replacing it (if bad), is recommended before installing or applying voltage on a new circuit board.
Note: A continuity test is not a sufficient heater test. Contact us by phone for more details on testing a heater.

Tip: Burned circuit boards or burned heater relays are often due to a loose electrical connection or a bad heater or both.
If all connections are tight and if the heater is good then the heater relays are probably old and worn out.
If a burned relay was powering a pump and all electrical connections are tight then the relay is probably old and worn out or the pump might be bad or going bad or all three.
Replacing the heater and/or pump with a new one is recommended if any of those scenarios apply.
