Additional Cross Ref., Compatibility & Installation
These new OEM circuit boards now connect the pumps to terminal spades on the circuit board, not the relays.

Locate the terminal spade on the circuit board labeled J39.
Connect Pump-1 high speed (red wire) and Pump-2 (red wire) to J39 on the circuit board.
Tip: previously these wiree connected to a relay, but now they connect to J39 on the circuit board.

Locate the terminal spade on the circuit board labelled J35.
Connect Pump-1 low speed (black wire) to J35
Tip: previously this wire connected to a relay, but now it connects to J35 on the circuit board.

Locate the terminal spade on the circuit board labelled J3.
Now locate the fuse block mounted on the inside of the box.
This fuse block has black wires on each side of it.
One black wire goes to the power input terminal block in the black posistion and it will remain as is.
The other black wire on the other side of the fuse block connects to J3 on the circuit board.
Tip: previously this wire connected to a relay, but now it connects to J39 on the circuit board.)

Locate jumper pin on the circuit board labelled J21.
Put the jumper sleeve on two pins
For topside control panels (keypad) with 2 or 3 buttons, put the jumper sleeve on two pins.
For topside control panels (keypad) with 4 buttons, put the jumper sleeve on one pin.
Tip: When replacing a hot tub circuit board, testing the heater and replacing it (if bad), is recommended before installing or applying voltage on a new circuit board.
Note: A continuity test is not a sufficient heater test. Contact us by phone for more details on testing a heater.

Tip: Burned circuit boards or burned heater relays are often due to a loose electrical connection or a bad heater or both.
If all connections are tight and if the heater is good then the heater relays are probably old and worn out.
If a burned relay was powering a pump and all electrical connections are tight then the relay is probably old and worn out or the pump might be bad or going bad or all three.
Replacing the heater and/or pump with a new one is recommended if any of those scenarios apply.
