Additional Cross Ref., Compatibility & Installation
This package deal includes an alternate replacement circuit board and a compatible topside control panel.

If your original topside control panel is good and has an Ethernet connector (looks similar to a phone plug), see Related Products below for a cheaper replacement without a new topside control panel.

Jet pump support:
This alternate replacement circuit board will not support 3 jet pumps.
Only 2 jet pumps and a dedicated circulator pump (optional) will be supported.
Keep in mind, a circulator pump is not a jet pump.
If your hot tub system has more than 3 jet pumps, please give us a call so we can help you find the correct replacement.

Air blower support:
This alternate replacement circuit board will NOT support multi-speed air blowers.
If your air blower has more than one speed, pick a speed and disconnect the wires for the other speeds.
If you don't want to lose the additional air blower speeds, you will need to order a circuit board directly Hawkeye Spas

If you have no ari blower or a single speed air blower, there is no change.

Configuration Instructions:
For Deluxe control panels (8 buttons), set jumper J7 on side 'A'.

For Standard control panels (7 buttons or less), set jumper J7 on side 'B'.

In addition, follow the wiring diagram and all instructions included with this new alternate replacement circuit board.
Tip: When replacing a hot tub circuit board, testing the heater and replacing it (if bad), is recommended before installing or applying voltage on a new circuit board.
Note: A continuity test is not a sufficient heater test. Contact us by phone for more details on testing a heater.

Tip: Burned circuit boards or burned heater relays are often due to a loose electrical connection or a bad heater or both.
If all connections are tight and if the heater is good then the heater relays are probably old and worn out.
If a burned relay was powering a pump and all electrical connections are tight then the relay is probably old and worn out or the pump might be bad or going bad or all three.
Replacing the heater and/or pump with a new one is recommended if any of those scenarios apply.
